The WAV Makers: Terror Garden
Planted in parts scattered across Long Island, Terror Garden likes to call Amityville home base where they create energetic, head-bumping hits as they continue to grow. The hard rock band was created 16 years ago in 2010, where lead vocalist Paul Terror and Gee on the drums have remained as original members. Since then, guitarist Mike de Gruchy joined in 2017, bassist Wild Bill Sherman in 2020, & most recently Ed Pallotta on the guitar in 2023.
As of late, the group came together to release their self-titled EP in January of this year. The 6-track metal project featured what would become their most successful song so far with the intro track "Supermodel Virus," which to date has accumulated almost 12,000 streams on Spotify alone. For the track, they made their first ever music video, which you can find on their YouTube channel. They would follow up with another "smashing" video for the 3rd track of the EP titled "Hollow," which I recommend watching to see if you recognize any familiar places on Long Island. The video also comes with a separate, unique behind-the-scenes shoot to give you a chance to see what went into creating the music video.
While the band has had some turnover throughout its 16-year history, Terror Garden has not slowed down as they are no stranger to taking the stage and have played all across Long Island for years. They seem to constantly put themselves out there whether it's interviews, podcasts, selling merchandise, etc. The consistency & determination to make themselves heard over time is nothing but impressive.
As they continue bloom across Long Island, promoting and performing any chance they seem to get, it will be exciting to see what comes next for Terror Garden as it only seems to go up from here.
